Anna and Alex couldn’t have been more welcoming and incredibly patient helping us into our very smart ski suits and explaining how everything works. The 8 huskies were brought out and attached to the sled and one of us rode while the rest of us followed on a snowmobile drawn sleigh. After a while we switched so we all got a chance to ride. The scenery about 40 minutes drive from Murmansk was pristine. Afterwe served tea and cinnamon buns and Anna gave a brief talk about huskies and sled racing. Anna speaks perfect English.

I highly recommend visiting the husky camp to any tourist in the Murmansk region. Anna and Alex are excellent hosts who are commited to provide you with a great experience. As we were an international group, it was also great that they could speak English so well. Speaking of the tour itself, it is a unique experience, the surroundings are beautiful and it is a great feeling to drive the dog sled.

During my few days in Murmansk my highlight was definitely Husky Murmansk! I would recommend it to everyone, especially if you want a great experience with cute huskies, interesting information and two guides, which are really friendly and helpful. We had a delicious russian meal and warm tea, which was warmed us up.
